Bloom Gallery Flowers is proud to present a San Francisco wedding of Nick and Brent. It is so much fun to create flower arrangements for a same-sex wedding ceremony and reception. This is simply because the options are limitless! This is amazing that the acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community has increased and the traditional flower arrangements have evolved to represent the unique and beautiful relationships of same-sex couples.
Our San Francisco florist has multiple ideas for the same-sex weddings’ flower decor. To start with, it is always a good idea to use rainbow flag colors in the floral arrangements. These colors symbolize the LGBTQ+ community, and incorporating them into the floral arrangements is a great way to show support and pride for the community. Using colorful flowers like roses or daisies, can create a bright and cheerful atmosphere.
Another idea from our San Francisco flower shop is to incorporate non-traditional flowers like succulents or wildflowers. No doubts, that these flowers are a great way to add texture and depth to the wedding floral arrangements. They are also hardy and can last longer, making them perfect for outdoor weddings.
Using different shades of a single flower for a more monochromatic look is another popular idea. For example, if the couple wants a coral theme, you can use different shades of coral flowers, such as alstroemerias, carnations and dahlias. This creates a cohesive and chic look, and the variations in shades add visual interest.
Is eucalyptus a wedding flower?
Eucalyptus is a popular wedding greenery that is often used in floral arrangements, bouquets, and centerpieces. Eucalyptus is known for its delicate and aromatic leaves, which come in a variety of shades of green and silver. It is a versatile greenery that can complement a wide range of flower types and color schemes, and is often used to add texture, depth, and visual interest to wedding arrangements. Additionally, eucalyptus is considered a symbol of purification and healing, making it a meaningful choice for wedding décor.
The greenery’s natural beauty and versatility make it a great option for any type of wedding, and it can be combined with other flowers or used on its own for a simple yet stunning aesthetic. Ultimately, the choice of wedding flowers and décor should reflect the couple’s personal taste and preferences, regardless of their sexual orientation.
Eucalyptus Wedding Arrangements
Nick and Brent, a couple who recently tied the knot, opted for a brutal and clean look for their wedding floral arrangements. The couple incorporated eucalyptus into the wedding ceremony. The white arch was adorned with eucalyptus greenery, which created a super simple and a stunning backdrop for the couple as they exchanged their vows. The aisle was also lined with eucalyptus, which added a natural touch to the wedding ceremony.
For the reception the couple chose tall eucalyptus table centerpieces with a touch of eryngium, which added a pop of blue to the otherwise green and white color palette. The simplicity of the arrangements allowed the natural beauty of the eucalyptus to shine through. For the sweetheart table, Nick and Brent opted for a garland and floor arrangements made of eucalyptus, which created a cohesive look with the table centerpieces. The garland added a touch of whimsy to the otherwise minimalist decor. Finally, the chandeliers were also adorned with eucalyptus, which created a romantic and ethereal atmosphere. Despite the greenery, there was still space for the flowers on this wedding – just look at these gorgeous boutonnières made of anemones. The couple looked outstanding for their big day!
Our San Francisco florist thoroughly enjoyed designing the floral arrangements for Nick and Brent’s wedding, as she was confident that their choice of eucalyptus was a wise decision. The simplicity and elegance of the plant perfectly complemented the natural beauty of the space, resulting in a stunning and unforgettable wedding day.
